Hi, i'm caitlyn Rowland.

Ever since I was seven years old, I knew I wanted to pursue photography as my future career. My sister, who is nine years older than me, was into photography in high school. So as any little sister does, I wanted to be just like her.

I went to New Oxford High School, spent all 12 years of my academic life in Conewago Valley School District, and graduated in 2019. I took every class available for photography, even an independent study, that was only available if asked for. All of my photography teachers were very motivating and were such important people in the making of me becoming the photographer I am today, and that I continue to grow into.

I grew up in the middle of nowhere, and was the girl all of my friends' parents referred to as the "farm girl" when they couldn't remember my name. Every other house around mine was either a farm with cows, or a farm with horses. Unfortunately, my parents are not horse people, so I didn't end up getting my first horse, Bentley, until I was 14. And so grew the idea to combine my two favorite things into one; equine photography.

I boarded Bentley at a farm right up the road from New Oxford High School, Ponie Up! LLC. Bentley and the other horses at the farm were, and still are, my models that helped me grow my online presence to the equestrian world. I love all areas of photography, but I've always wanted to specialize in equine photography.
